Who we are
This website is run by Springlife Trading Limited T/A Sartori Restaurant (restaurant address: 15 Great Newport Street, London WC2H 7JE, United Kingdom). Springlife Trading Limited T/A Sartori Restaurant is the data controller. Contact: info@sartorirestaurant.com.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, such as pixels and tags, read or store information in your browser in the same way. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) we may only use them without your consent when they are strictly necessary. Everything else needs your consent first.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or choose by category. “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”, and no optional technology is set before you choose. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw, we stop Google Analytics and/or the Meta Pixel straight away and delete the related cookies stored on our domain.
How long we remember your choice
If you accept, we remember your choice for 12 months. If you reject, we remember it for 6 months and will not ask again before then. We also ask again if we add new technologies or purposes.
Google Analytics
If you consent to analytics, our site loads Google Analytics 4, which helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. It sends Google LLC information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, browser and device, in an anonymised form (we turn on IP anonymisation). Google processes this under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Our legal basis is your consent (PECR regulation 6 and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Meta Pixel
If you consent to marketing, our site loads the Meta Pixel. It sends Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device, your IP address and an identifier stored in the _fbp cookie. We use it to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our offers to people who visited this site. For collecting and sending this data, we and Meta are joint controllers; Meta then processes it under its own privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Meta may transfer data to the United States under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our legal basis is your consent (PECR regulation 6 and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Booking and gift cards
Table bookings and gift cards run on booking.sartorirestaurant.com, provided by booknbook. That site has its own cookie and privacy information.
Your rights
You have rights under UK GDPR, including access, erasure and objection. Contact us at info@sartorirestaurant.com. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
